have you ever read ‘the hiding place’ by corrie ten boom?
I did a long time ago. Very moving!
I think I texted you my reply but I thought I should say it again in case I didn’t. I have read The Hiding Place. I read it in college. It is a very moving book. Just might be worth adding to my list of books for my reading challenge for 2011. Thx!
Pam
Battlefield of the Mind is a great book! I love to read, but hardly ever take time to do it any more. My blog is my new passion and it takes up most of my spare time. But, I was recently forced to take a blog break for a few weeks. (We went on vacation and my laptop was stolen from our van, so I had the vacation break plus the need-to-replace-the-laptop break.) After we came home from vacation, I noticed a book that had been in my bedroom for months. It was My Sister’s Keeper by Jodi Picoult. I hadn’t seen the movie (yet), so I started reading the book. Wow! I am totally a fan of Picoult now. I intended to read one or two more of Picoult’s books…but then my new laptop arrived. And, well, you know! LOL!
I soooooo know what you mean!!!! I renewed my love for reading while on a cruise and unable to blog as well. HAHAHA I still have the reading bug for now though. I’m taking advantage of it. ANd I LOVE Jodi Picoult. Enjoy! Thanks for stopping by!
Wow Pam, I love to read too ;.) I will have to read a few of this { in my spare time ;.)}
If you haven’t read anything by Karen Kingsbury, you absolutely mus t give her a try. LOVE her!!
I read so much Karen Kingsbury that I got burnt out on her a few years ago. Now I can pretty much predict the whole storyline within the first 30 pages. So, I’ve moved on for a while. I do have some of her new ones on my “to read” shelf for when I’m ready to go back though. My favorite series of her’s is the 9/11 series. And of course I loved the Baxters but not the spin off series.
